IT Senior Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team and play a key role in providing technical expertise and advanced troubleshooting for critical applications. This vacancy proposes night shift - 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM. Deliver advanced Level 3 (L3) application support and expertise for resolving challenging technical issues Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents involving Perl, Python, PowerShell, and SQL Manage application environments on Linux systems with a strong understanding of RDBMS concepts Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance workflows scheduled and managed via AutoSys Utilize tools such as Jira, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and Confluence to track issues, share knowledge, and streamline processes Provide support for business-critical applications in the financial domain, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability 3+ years of experience in application support with a proven track record in delivering L3 support ~ Proficiency in Linux systems ~ Competency in using scripting languages like Python and PowerShell to streamline processes and solve issues ~ Expertise in database systems with extensive skills in SQL and RDBMS concepts ~ Working knowledge of tools including Jira, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence, and Maven ~ Strong troubleshooting abilities with an in-depth understanding of system architecture and network configurations ~ English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher Nice to have Experience with Apache Maven, Atlassian Jira, or Confluence Cloud Background in scripting using PowerShell or Python Engineering community of industry professionals Flexible schedule and opportunity to work remotely within Poland Business-driven relocation opportunities Certification (GCP, Azure, AWS) English classes We cover it all: Stable income (Employment Contract or B2B) Benefits package (health insurance, multisport, shopping vouchers) Strategically located offices featuring entertainment and relaxation zones, table tennis and football, free snacks, fantastic coffee, and more EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
