You will be responsible for the developers' growth and management, which includes mentoring, performance, and salary reviews.
Collaborate closely with product manager , UX designer, and marketing manager to shape the product’s future and minimize time to market for every product increment.
Our current tech stack includes Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, React, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform services BUT it constantly evolves. You need the openness to use your experience and leverage other programming languages, frameworks, databases, etc. Ensure the greatest quality of the product , the code, supporting processes & Agile practices (e.g. teach team through code reviews, improve test coverage, facilitate Scrum ceremonies).
Take ownership of technical improvements (refactoring, minimizing technical debt).
Proven, strong experience in leading (2+ years) development teams using Agile principles and practices, with the proven ability to mentor, motivate, and support the growth of engineers.
Up-to-date knowledge of one of the modern JavaScript frameworks and back-end platforms , or readiness/commitment to master both if you have specialized in back-end or front-end so far.
Truly engineering approach to solving problems. Good theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g. algorithms and computational complexity, OOP) are super practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies.
Goals and data-driven approach to software product development.
Strong understanding of web applications , including performance , quality , and security aspects.
Good understanding of modern Cloud architectures , and practical experience implementing them in either GCP , AWS, or Azure .
Excellent communication skills and command of English at level B2or higher.
A good grasp of SQL and relational databases or BigQuery is a plus
You excel in communication, effectively connecting in remote/hybrid environments using tools like Slack, Zoom, and G Suite and through occasional in-person events.
Home Office allowance – 200 PLN/month to cover your electricity and internet bills.
