Role Overview Collateral Management/Funds Solution Architect – Euroclear Division: Group Business Solutions (GBS) Software Engineering Tribe – Solutions Architecture team As a key architect, you will define enterprise architecture, design end-to-end solutions for initiatives across GBS domains, and actively shape the Solution Architecture Practice focusing on Collateral Management and Funds. Role Responsibilities Solution Definition: Lead the design and implementation of architecture solutions for transversal programs, ensuring alignment with business, technical, and security requirements under senior architect guidance. Collaboration: Work with requirement owners, domain architects, and IT engineers to build high‑quality solutions. Integration: Bridge the gap between Enterprise Architecture and IT delivery teams, maintaining alignment with enterprise standards and domain target architectures. Community Contribution: Produce reusable solution patterns and building blocks; advance Solution Architecture and Software Engineering practices. Technology Expertise: Deliver hands‑on tech and delivery experience to define business capability target architectures and roadmaps for Collateral Management and Funds. Knowledge Sharing: Engage in communities of practice to disseminate standard methodologies and lessons learned. Profile Requirements Experience: Solution architecture or lead development on large‑scale transformation projects in the IT industry. Agile & DevOps: Proven participation in large‑scale agile projects and DevOps practices (CI/CD, SAFe). Architectural Skills: Event‑driven, service‑based architectures, microservices, REST APIs. Technical Knowledge:.NET/Java experience. Familiarity with mainframe, integration, and data technologies. JavaScript front‑end frameworks (e.g., Angular) – advantage. Cloud exposure – advantage. Complex Problem Solving: Manage complex systems and problems across functions, locations, and organisations. Autonomy: Provide pragmatic architectural analysis and mentorship. Analytical Skills: Break down complex problems and deliver actionable solutions. Pragmatism: Focus on fit‑for‑purpose results. Communication: Advocate architectural recommendations to projects and senior management. Relationship Management: Build positive relationships. Industry Knowledge: Post‑trade market infrastructures, Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Open Agile Architecture). Financial Services: Understanding of Collateral Management or Funds processes and regulatory environment. Language: English proficiency required.
