The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the fertilizer market, customer behaviour, and sector-specific trends, and will be capable of developing a business plan aligned with the owner’s expectations. This is a senior leadership role requiring strategic vision, operational excellence, and strong commercial acumen. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all aspects of sales operations, including developing strategies to maximize revenue and market share. Drive the effective operation of marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans to achieve organizational objectives. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation. Set and track performance metrics to evaluate the success of sales and marketing efforts. Provide strategic guidance to the sales and marketing teams. Develop and manage budgets for sales and marketing activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry actors. Represent the organization at agricultural events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Stay informed about agricultural trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Lead the development and execution of strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market reach. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to enhance productivity and effectiveness. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and teamwork. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and board members. Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic at all times. Continuously assess and adjust strategies and tactics in response to changing market dynamics and business needs. Understand the fertilizer market and customer habits and develop business plans accordingly in line with owner expectations.
