Financial Budgeting – Expense Supervisor

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Financial Budgeting – Funds Expense Supervisor to join our Expense Administration Team. Expense Administration team is responsible for preparation, review and delivery of budgets, TER, VAT filing, fund events and any other reporting in accordance with accounting standards and clients' expectations. The team has a client facing role and services clients from all around the world. The team utilizes newest technology solutions allowing for process automation and works closely with many internal departments and external stakeholders (management companies, investment managers and auditors) which gives a great opportunity to learn about investment funds and the way they operate. In this role you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day provision of Expense Administration services. Working closely with the Expense Administration Team Leader you will allocate tasks and workload to the team members and ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of deliverables. Some of the key responsibilities include: Management of preparation of monthly / quarterly deliverables i.e., budgets, TER, VAT filing, fund events and other reporting Reviews all daily work performed by the team for completeness, accuracy and compliance with current policies and procedures Responsibility for communication to clients / key stakeholders and senior management Acting as a key client contact, ensuring timely and accurate responses to any client queries Responsibility for coaching and developing team members Providing appropriate feedback via periodic meetings and the firm's performance appraisal process Assisting in projects within Expense Administration Department including standardization and workload optimization to improve the efficiency, quality and accuracy of deliverables What we offer: To encourage cultural awareness and philanthropy, BBHers have 1 Culture Celebration Day and 1 Community Service Day in addition to their paid standard vacation allowance Contracts for an indefinite period, from day one Private medical care Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program - offering independent and confidential counselling services for you and your family. Professional trainings and qualification support Wellbeing Program Online Social Fund benefit platform Social, sport and integration events Onboarding Program for new hires Desired Qualifications: Primary degree in accounting / banking and finance / economics related discipline Previous experience in expense administration, accounting or finance Prior experience in managing a team Prior experience in investment funds industry will be an asset Strong reviewing skills Proven ability to manage and complete a variety of projects simultaneously Highly computer literate with strong Excel and Word skills Fluency in English and strong communication skills We value diverse experiences.
