fusionSpan is a fast-growing US based multinational information technology services company, and we are seeking a Salesforce Developer to join the team.

We are actively seeking a skilled Back-end Developer with expertise in , TypeScript, and NestJS to design and implement secure and scalable APIs and services. Your experience will play a crucial role in driving our projects forward.

This is a long term contract role and can be an hourly or monthly fixed-price
contract
. You will be working
remotely
with US based team members and clients. We would want some flexibility with hours, so a typical day would end at 7pm local time.\

About The Role
We are seeking a Back-end Developer experienced in , TypeScript, and NestJS to design and implement secure, scalable APIs and services. You will work closely with frontend teams, DevOps engineers, and product owners to build high-performance server-side applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using , TypeScript, and the NestJS framework.
  • Architect and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data migrations.
  • Build and integrate REST and SOAP APIs for internal and external services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a focus on reliability and performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with NestJS or similar frameworks (e.g., Express, Koa).
  • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and query tuning.
  • Proven experience building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum workflows, and code review processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Supertest).
  • Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
