About the department 

The development team in Traede ApS is currently based in Denmark and Poland, with our headquarters in Copenhagen. We work with high autonomy and tight collaboration across teams, ensuring we never sit in silos. Developers work side by side with onboarding, support, and sales to deliver a seamless product.

Role Objective

As a Back End Developer, you'll be responsible for the engine that powers TRAEDE. You'll design and maintain scalable APIs, data-heavy ERP workflows, and integrations with external systems. Your work will directly impact performance, reliability, and how customers run their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs in PHP (Laravel)
  • Work with PostgreSQL to model complex data and optimize queries
  • Create and maintain integrations with external systems (accounting, logistics, EDI, etc.)
  • Improve scalability, performance, and reliability of backend services
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentoring
Your Experience
  • Solid experience with PHP (Laravel)
  • Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL or similar relational DBs)
  • Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, queues, and caching is a plus
  • Bonus: experience with AWS, monitoring, or observability tools

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Software Development (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, structured, and detail-oriented
  • Collaborative and willing to share knowledge
