Job Title: Finance - Governance & Control T2-I

Location: Warsaw Poland– on-site, 5 days/week

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: 14,587.2 PLN/month on Employment Contract OR PLN/day on B2B Contract

Job Description:

As Cluster Controller your are part of the Market Reporting & Governance Team and the broader Pet Nutrition Europe Controllership Team, which constitutes the 3rd tier of the new Controllership operating model.

You will be collaborating intensively across PNE Controllership Team to cascade global policies and processes across the Cluster – as part of the role of Champions of Quality, Connectors and Interpreters across Finance.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree or equivalent preferably in Accounting (Required)
  • Solid accounting and finance background with track record of delivering results
  • SAP Experience or Equivalent ERP system
  • Experience with financial statement reporting obligations, including an understanding of US GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
  • Up to date knowledge of accounting regulations: Client GAAP and Client policies & rules
  • Digitally savvy, with strong user and problem-centric approach
  • Fluent German and English required

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Ensure proper accounting, health of balance sheet and P&L in close collaboration with MGSF for the Mkts within the Cluster. Collaborate closely with Reporting Analyst for BS reviews.
  • Ensure timely delivery of accurate and complete financial information for the Mkts within the Cluster
  • Oversee implementation of controls framework, controls testing plan and execution, co-lead governance & control agenda with Cluster Finance Director and GM
  • Nurture culture of close collaboration between finance (MGSF / Financial Operations, CoEs, Finance Director and Business Partners, FP&A) and non-Finance teams (Sales, MS&D and other on Cluster level) as well as other segments (Snacking, Food)
  • Being the champion for controls in all environments, such that associates are aware and feel comfortable contacting and working with, which will provide safe and trusted working environment
