Teaser / Hook

Managing the controlling team supporting key decision-making processes within the company. Preparing a comprehensive financial package for the Siemianowice l plant as part of the month-end closing process and collaborating with auditors on the annual report.

Your Role

Head of Controlling acts as single point of contact for financial matters regarding Siemianowice l site. Coordinates work of the team to assure consistency and the right allocation of the resources. The role main purpose is to be the business partner for key stakeholders.

Business oriented player and good understanding of finance. Good work organization, the ability to prioritize individual tasks. Good communication with all stakeholders in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-end closing supervision and controlling analysis of the results
  • Preparation of the annual IFRS financial statement and cooperation with auditors
  • Responsible for operational controlling within the organization, including monitoring profitability, cost effectiveness, and the achievement of business goals.
  • Creating financial analyses, management reports, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Working with the Management Team a position with direct reporting, actively participating in the planning and evaluation of business initiatives.
  • Participating in the creation and oversight of budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting systems.
  • Optimizing controlling processes and developing analytical tools to support the company's operations.
  • Supporting individual departments in data analysis, identifying deviations, and recommending corrective actions.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Cognos
  • Independence and good work organization;
  • Good command of English;

Success in This Role

Head of Controlling Department has complete overview of financial aspects of the company and actively supports business decisions to improve financial performance in terms of growth and profitability as well as free cash flow.
