DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

The Platform Engineering Lead is responsible for guiding the technical direction, reliability, and continuous evolution of our unified digital platform, including the portal and API catalogue. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership of a team of Full Stack Developers, ensuring the platform remains robust, secure, and aligned with business needs.

As the Platform Engineering Lead, you will:

• Ensure the platform operates smoothly, meets availability targets, and supports business needs.
• Lead and mentor a team of Full Stack Developers focused on maintenance, continuous improvement, and minor enhancements.
• Act as the primary technical contact for external solution providers, ensuring alignment with roadmap and SLAs.
• Plan and deliver incremental improvements to the portal and API catalogue based on business priorities.
• Oversee integration quality and maintain technical standards across platform components.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to support business initiatives and address complex requirements.
• Run small, time-boxed proof-of-concepts to validate new frameworks or components that could improve performance or user experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, software development, or technical leadership.
• Proven ability to manage engineering teams and collaborate effectively with external vendors.
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures, API platforms, and observability systems.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization.
• Ability to translate business priorities into actionable technical strategies and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with mandatory fluency in English, plus a proactive, collaborative problem-solving mindset.
