The Role
The purpose of this role is ensuring accurate forecasting, supply planning, and reporting to optimize production and align with business objectives. Maintaining key processes like carflow updates, stock reports, BO handling, production scheduling, and supply chain adjustments, ensuring smooth coordination between departments and OEMs. Balancing demand and offer, enhancing operational efficiency. Keeping the stakeholders (internal – dealer – OEM) updated on supply planning issues.

Main Functions/Responsibilities
Reporting tasks

  • Develop and update yearly&monthly wholesales, BP, SP and SF preparation
  • Develop and maintain car flow to secure Sales Plan
  • Develop and maintain new reporting functionalities for the Operations Unit (stock, cost, delivery time, etc...)
  • Liaise with Sales management, Marketing, Customer Service and Finance Departments to ensure business process adherence
  • Availability for support in reporting for cross-company needs

Used car logistics and others tasks

  • Participation in non-standard new vehicle delivery as additional support for the Delivery Unit

Organisational tasks

  • Acquiring knowledge of related corporate business documents (Commercial Policy or equivalent – related paragraphs;
  • Commercial Actions or equivalent; OEM Quality Instructions, supplier contracts, etc…)
  • Ensure knowledge transfer in the back-upprocess for all activities

Supply planning tasks

  • Preparing Volume Request and ideal mix based on forecasted values and common understanding with Marketing, Sales and Business Performance
  • Supervise and report supply issues
  • Conduct the monthly order process for all models
  • Conduct the daily order/changing ad hoc process (only if necessary)
  • Propose adjustment of production mix&schedule to ideally match offer and demand
  • Monitor and resolve any production related issues by liaising with OEMs
  • Liaise with OEMs in setting up/adjusting sales and supply chain strategy
  • Liaise with product marketing to ensure that model-related production information is shared and production mix is planned with a common understanding between Operations, Business Performance and Marketing
  • Liaise with fleet department to ensure that major deals are considered in production planning process
  • Avoid aging stock and inform relevant departments pro-actively

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Pior experience in Reporting in Operations or Logistics
  • Good command of Excel (VBA knowledge will be additional asset)
  • Detail oriented and precise in planning
  • High communication skills
  • Very good English language (written and spoken)
