VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking an Expert Test Specialist to work from the European Commission.


The role:

  • Designs and documents test cases for software systems
  • Executes test
  • Executes exploratory test sessions
  • Reports Test results and found defects
  • Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues
  • Cooperates with analysis, architects, software development and service desk teams
  • Reviews project documentation
  • Takes test lead role in smaller projects
You have:
  • At least 5 years of hands on experience in testing complex systems
  • Well versed and practical knowledge of software testing tools 
  • Expert in designing tests
  • Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly
  • Presents excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle

Specific requirements

  • Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans 
  • Hands-on experience with coding in one of languages - Python, java script, type script, VBS
  • Hands-on experience with Test Automation using Playwright or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries
  • Hands-on experience with testing SharePoint based applications
  • ISTQB Advanced Certified or equivalent
