We are hiring for Hyperdex's expansion in Poland. Hyperdex is a trading software and execution company built by a team with over a century of combined experience across FX, traditional finance, and crypto markets. We build and run our own execution systems and currently operate globally with desks in Switzerland and Hong Kong.

This role is on the execution arm. You are not making trading decisions, the strategies are already defined. Your responsibility is to ensure those decisions are carried out correctly by our algorithms and automated systems. This is a monitoring and coordination role, and the execution desk is critical to maintaining the integrity and stability of the entire trading pipeline.

This is a high pressure role. If you want a comfortable environment, this is not for you.

EU Session 08:00-16:00UTC

US Session 16:00-00:00 UTC

Contractors are expected to cover
a minimum of 4 sessions per week

Responsibilities

  • Monitor automated strategy execution in real time across multiple venues.
  • Detect abnormal behavior (latency spikes, reject/error rates, slippage, fill quality) and escalate immediately with clear context in less than 60s.
  • Maintain incident logs, runbooks, and tight comms with traders; ensure clean end-of-shift handovers.
  • Assist with reconciliation, fills/positions checks, and execution reports; assist with the coordination of settlements with institutional counterparties.
  • (Optional) Contribute to Python scripts and monitoring dashboards.

Requirements

  • Studying or completed degree in Computer Science, Finance, Math, Engineering, Physics, or similar. Self-study is acceptable if you can demonstrate equivalent skill
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Clear and concise communication in English
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic CLI tooling
  • Can remain focused and calm under pressure

Bonus Points

  • Python scripting.
  • Understanding of order books, liquidity, execution, and slippage.
  • Familiarity with blockchain explorers/on-chain analysis (e.g., Etherscan; Dune a plus).
  • Evidence of discipline and consistency (sports, military, competition training).
