We are seeking a dynamic and motivated
Strategic Account Manager
to join our Global Commercial Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving global client partnerships and expanding Mute's presence through strategic account development and multi-country collaboration.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute global account strategies. Create account plans for major multinational clients and targeted market segments. Identify decision-makers at corporate headquarters, understand their global workplace strategies, and position Mute's modular pods and acoustic solutions as strategic partners.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders. Engage C‑suite leaders, procurement heads, and design management teams to understand their needs and advocate for Mute. Maintain regular communication to keep our solutions top of mind for future projects.
- Drive multi‑country deals. Negotiate master agreements and global frameworks that enable local teams and distributors to win projects in their markets. Coordinate pricing, contract terms, and delivery logistics across regions.
- Collaborate with local sales teams. Serve as a central point of contact for key accounts, ensuring consistent messaging and service worldwide. Work closely with regional sales managers to support pipeline development and share best practices.
- Identify cross‑sell and up‑sell opportunities. Analyse client portfolios and propose solutions across Mute's product range to expand our footprint within existing accounts.
- Represent Mute at international events. Attend global trade shows, client summits, and industry conferences. Host strategic client visits in our showrooms and present Mute's vision and product roadmap.
- Provide market insights. Gather feedback from clients and monitor market trends to inform product development, marketing strategies and long‑term planning.
What you bring:
- 5+ years' experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or business development–ideally within the furniture, workspace design, architectural, or building products sectors.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder relationships and negotiate global framework agreements. Experience closing multi‑country deals is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of corporate procurement processes and experience working with multinational organisations or strategic market segments (e.g., technology, finance, automotive, hospitality).
- Fluent in English and Polish with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; additional languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven approach to account planning; proficiency with CRM and account‑management tools.
- Ability to work across cultures and time zones. Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30–40% of the time).
Nice to have:
- Existing relationships within global corporate real estate, architecture or design‑build networks.
- Experience with modular construction, acoustic products or sustainable building solutions.
- Knowledge of ESG and sustainability frameworks relevant to workplace design
