Join a dynamic team working on the operations and transformation of an Internal Cloud Platform supporting over a thousand business services. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automating and managing an enterprise-class environment, collaborating with a global team and utilizing the latest technologies.

Tasks

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Create and maintain scripts, workflows, and tools to automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual intervention.
  • Introduce monitoring and observability solutions to ensure full automation in line with stakeholder requirements.
  • Evaluate and integrate new automation tools and technologies to enhance existing systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to implement automation in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Optimize and maintain automated deployments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Monitor automation systems, detect issues, and implement preventive measures.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Automate testing processes to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues promptly, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  • Continuously optimize automation workflows to improve performance and scalability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for automation failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive initiatives.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code and automation practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in automation engineering, focusing on on-prem infrastructure and systems automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python and PowerShell.
  • Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks, preferably Ansible and Jenkins.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience implementing and managing them.
  • Experience with on-prem distributed platforms, particularly Linux and VMs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with API and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools is beneficial.
