Senior Analyst – Liquidity Management

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Analyst with sound knowledge and experience in Liquidity Management for one of our global Investment Banking Clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze the bank's liquidity position to ensure optimal allocation of funding sources and alignment with strategic balance sheet objectives.
• Contribute to the bank's Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP).
• Reconcile liquidity positions across multiple source systems and lines of businesses to produce detailed summary and variance reports.
• Calculate and monitor liquidity metrics such as LCR and NSFR with a basic understanding of liquidity reporting requirements like ALMM, PRA110, FR 2052A etc.,
• Optimize the use of cash and non-cash collateral, focusing on liquidity efficiency and High-Quality Liquid Assets (HQLA) management.
• Oversee the refinement of the bank's Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, ensuring all liquidity and funding costs are accurately priced into various business activities.
• Assist in liquidity stress testing, scenario analysis, and various types of forecasting of liquidity balances and metrics.
• Work with the Treasury, Finance, Risk, Collateral Management, and Technology teams to identify automation opportunities in the liquidity management process.

Skills required:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Liquidity Management roles.
• Understanding of liquidity risk and regulations like Basel III liquidity standards and local regulatory requirements (PRA, ECB, FED, MAS, HKMA etc.,) is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of the end-to-end Liquidity Management process lifecycle including LCR/NSFR calculations and ILAAP/CLA requirements.
• Proficiency in liquidity and balance sheet management tools such as QRM, Moody's RiskAuthority, Murex etc.,
• Awareness of data analysis techniques and hands-on experience with tools like SQL, VBA and Python will be an added benefit.
• Excellent skills in verbal and written communication; preparation of MIS reports; and presentation to partner teams, senior managers and executive leadership.
