Analyst - Capital Management

We are looking for a talented and experienced Mid/Senior Analyst with sound knowledge and experience in Capital Management for one of our global Investment Banking Clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives to proactively manage the bank's Risk Weighted Assets (RWAs) and leverage ratios.
• Perform deep-drive analyses into the bank's RWA drivers across Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR/CVA), and Operational Risk.
• Identify capital management strategies such as trade compression, portfolio optimization, and collateral optimization.
• Ensure compliance with local and global regulatory requirements related to capital such as Basel III/IV, CRR/CRD, and FRTB.
• Develop and run capital-focused stress test scenarios per the recommendation of PRA, EBA, CCAR etc., for the global markets portfolio of the bank.
• Monitor key capital performance indicators such as Return on RWA (RoRWA) and Return on Leverage Exposure (RoLE).
• Contribute to the weekly and monthly capital forecasting and planning process.
• Collaborate with the Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to align Capital Management policies with the bank-wide risk framework.

Skills required:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Capital Management roles.
• Deep understanding of capital planning, RWA calculation methodologies across risk types, and stress testing.
• Hands-on experience with the ICAAP cycle, and knowledge of prudential regulations impacting capital management such as Basel III/IV, CRR/CRD, and FRTB.
• Awareness of data analysis techniques and hands-on experience with tools like SQL, VBA and Python will be an added benefit.
• Excellent skills in verbal and written communication; preparation of MIS reports; and presentation to partner teams, senior managers and executive leadership.
