Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead Business Architect (LBA) to join our ERAMA application team. The ideal candidate will provide business leadership, drive requirements analysis, and serve in a part-time Scrum Master capacity while fostering stakeholder collaboration in our evolving BizDevOps environment.
This position requires someone who can balance business architecture expertise with Scrum Master responsibilities, possesses exceptional communication and leadership skills, and maintains unwavering focus on business outcomes through effective stakeholder collaboration.
Key Requirements
Business Expertise
Minimum 5+ years of Pega business architecture experience with proven LBA experience
Strong understanding of Pega's Case Management framework and DCO methodology
Experience translating complex business requirements into Pega solutions
Proficient in Pega's business architecture tools and approaches
Knowledge of financial services business processes preferred
Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering and analysis for business solutions
Serve as Scrum Master for the team (approximately 30% of role)
Design and document business architecture artifacts (case types, processes, etc.)
Facilitate workshops and requirements sessions with business stakeholders
Drive business outcomes through effective solution design
Support the team's BizDevOps maturity journey
Mindset & Working Style
Flexible approach to tackle various tasks beyond traditional LBA responsibilities
Scrum Master experience or strong willingness to learn is mandatory (30% of role)
Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to influence across organizational levels
Full focus on business outcomes and stakeholder collaboration
Collaborative team player who can bridge business and technical perspectives
Problem-solving attitude with strong facilitation skills
Must-have knowledge and experience
Previous experience as LBA in at least one full Pega implementation project
Scrum Master experience or certification preferred
Financial services industry experience preferred
Experience with agile development methodologies
Demonstrated success in stakeholder management
