Responsibilities:- provide Level 3 production support for Java-based, microservices-driven applications, ensuring their stability, availability, and performance,
- analyze incoming JIRA tickets, investigate issues end-to-end, and determine the most effective resolution path,
- diagnose defects across application components and implement fixes directly when feasible - such as minor code corrections or adjustments to database records,
- review and validate the behavior of interconnected microservices to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues,
- prepare clear technical analysis when escalations are required and collaborate with relevant development or production teams to drive resolution,
- monitor system health, participate in routine production maintenance tasks, and contribute to ongoing service reliability improvements,
- support future automation initiatives aimed at reducing manual effort and streamlining maintenance processes,
- work closely with development, product, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality and long-term system stability.
- strong hands-on background in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices-based architectures, with the ability to understand service interactions and make small code-level adjustments when needed,
- practical experience working with Kafka and a solid command of relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch, including handling data corrections or validation tasks,
- familiarity with production support workflows - analyzing JIRA tickets, diagnosing issues, applying fixes when possible, and escalating more complex cases with clear technical documentation,
- ability to navigate distributed systems, identify root causes, and ensure long-term stability of Java microservices,
- comfort working in a structured maintenance-driven environment, where most tasks involve stabilizing and improving existing applications rather than feature development,
- basic understanding of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) - not for hands-on infrastructure work, but to understand how applications run in the environment,
- good communication skills and a collaborative mindset, enabling smooth cooperation with Development, Product, QA, and other cross-functional teams,
- a reliable, systematic working style suited to a calm, predictable schedule, with readiness to contribute to future automation initiatives.
