The platform provides multi-region onboarding, flexible account setup for legal entities, and scalable payment flows. The company operates globally, supports a large client base, and is now strengthening its client success function to ensure a top-tier customer experience.

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced
Business Development Manager
to join our client's team, focused on building and scaling their partner network. In this role, you will take charge of expanding the partner ecosystem, driving growth through new business relationships, and optimising the existing ones. You will be involved in identifying potential partners, managing negotiations, and ensuring the successful onboarding of key business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and manage new partners via LinkedIn, research, community outreach, introductions, and networking.
  • Conduct calls and presentations to communicate the value proposition of the company's solutions.
  • Manage the partner pipeline in CRM and provide regular updates on deal statuses.
  • Close deals and transition partners to operations/accounting for ongoing engagement.
  • Test and refine new lead-generation channels and strategies.
  • Gather market feedback and share insights with the product team for further improvement.
  • Contribute to building a scalable and efficient partner program.
  • Attend relevant fintech and crypto-related conferences in Europe.

Core Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B partner sales and business development (preferably in fintech, payments, SaaS, or embedded finance).
  • Experience managing the full partner lifecycle, from lead generation and deal closing to long-term relationship management.
  • Excellent English communication skills (C1).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple partners simultaneously.
  • Self-driven with a track record of success in fast-growing startups or products.

Soft Skills

  • Proactive and results-oriented: able to independently seek out, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Charismatic and skilled at building trust-based relationships quickly.
  • High degree of independence, with minimal need for micromanagement.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and system-oriented thinking.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment where building processes from scratch is key.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with PSPs, fintech APIs, or white-label solutions.
  • Knowledge of the payments and banking infrastructure market.
  • Established network within the fintech or crypto industries.
  • Presentation and pre-sales skills, with a light technical background.

  • Compensation: Fixed base salary + performance-based commission (negotiable).
  • Directly working with the founder, with significant opportunities for experimentation and testing new business hypotheses.
  • Focus on scaling the partner program 10x in 2025.
