Key Responsibilities:
Build a very good understanding of customers and market.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Provide solutions for customer issues and act as voice of customer.
Act and communicate proactively whilst keeping customers informed of relevant topics.
Take an active role in internal as well as external customer meetings together with Sales Specialists/Operations etc.
Find optimal transport solutions to ensure prompt and safe delivery of cargo to destination.
Uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities which will be of value to our customers.
Coordinate closely with other teams to ensure that agreed turn times are achieved for customer requests.
Support less experienced members of the team with insights and solutions
Address root causes and seek improvement opportunities on daily tasks/responsibilities.
Who we are looking for:
Proven experience in a customer facing role in the logistics or transportation industry.
Sound knowledge of supply chain.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and outside the box
Maturity and seniority to support less experienced colleagues and manage escalations
Interest and ability to work on process improvement plans
Fluency in English.
