Description

  • Own all financial reporting for the Polish legal entity in accordance with Polish GAAP and Group reporting requirements under U.S. GAAP/IFRS.
  • Lead month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reporting to Group Finance.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, labor efficiency, scrap, and overhead absorption
  • Maintain and update standard cost models in collaboration with production and Group Finance
  • Manage local cash flow forecasting and coordinate with Group Treasury
  • Support working capital optimization through inventory, payables, and receivables management
  • Ensure full compliance with local tax (VAT, CIT, transfer pricing), regulatory, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Act as primary contact for external accountants, tax advisors, and statutory auditors in Poland
  • Lead internal and external audits and Group finance reviews.

Profile

  • Education:
    University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Professional Certification:
    CPA, ACCA, CIMA or local Polish qualification preferred
  • Experience:
    Minimum 5-8 years of experience in finance roles within manufacturing environments; prior experience in a U.S.-owned subsidiary is a strong advantage
  • Language:
    Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written)
  • Systems:
    Proficiency with ERP systems (Exact, Priority and D365); strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing cost flows and plant operations
  • Ability to translate financial data into operational insights
  • Strong leadership and people development skills
  • Excellent communication across cultures and time zone
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability
  • Proactive, analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
