Job Description:
You will provide accounting and analytical support to the finance & accounting office function across a broad range of areas. You will work closely with other colleagues whose focus is on local finance. You will also interact with employees and other stakeholders supporting them on finance related topics – mostly connected with AP, ER

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Polish accounting and tax (VAT, CIT) regulations and internal accounting regulations and policies when reviewing finance documents (invoices, expense reports). You will ensure that management accounting is carried out according to Firm standards.
  • Engage in balance sheet reconciliation
  • Participate in tax returns preparation (VAT, CIT) together with other teams in the Firm.
  • Ensure that reports required by Polish regulations are prepared and submitted on time (including NBP, GUS)
  • Coordinate Year End closure activities including Financial Statement preparation and CIT calculation and cooperate on this topic with other teams like the legal Corporate Tax Team

Mandatory Skills

  • Accounting knowledge, practical knowledge of accounting entries
  • Fixed Asset regulations (tax, accounting, inventory)
  • Tax knowledge CIT (review of CIT calculation, solving tax queries on daily basis)
  • Tax knowledge VAT (review of VAT calculation, solving tax queries on daily basis)
  • Preparation of Financial Statements
  • Good verbal and written language skills both in Polish and English (B2/C1 - CEFR* or equivalent)
  • Solid MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
