Operations Finance Manager

Your key responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic finance partner to store operations, providing actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and commercial performance.
• Analyse investment performance to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and deliver impactful recommendations that support business growth.
• Lead investment appraisals for key strategic initiatives, ensuring robust financial analysis and post-implementation performance tracking.
• Participate actively in senior leadership meetings, contributing financial insights and commercial perspectives to support strategic decision-making.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes in close collaboration with operational stakeholders.
• Oversee weekly and monthly performance reporting, delivering targeted insights on store performance, cost drivers, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing finance team through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, operational finance, or business partnering roles (retail or consumer-facing industry experience preferred).
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights and influence operational decision-making.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, store performance metrics, and investment appraisal.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel).
• Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP, Jedox) is an advantage.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are a plus but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on strategic thinking and decision support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
