This role is responsible for defining technology for metal parts production, assuring required hardware and software, improving products, processes and machinery of the Production Unit (PU) in view of safety, yield, efficiency, quality and reliability performance, ensuring stable production.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Responsible for deploying and executing continuous improvement capabilities in production unit.
  • Creates required conditions to win in the marketplace through fast and efficient NPIs (time to market), and highly efficient production (zero defect, target output)
  • Develops standards supporting lean manufacturing and waste reduction.
  • Acts as project leader for improvement initiatives (production, documentation).
  • Manages and coaches project team members

Skills & Experience

  • Broad/theoretical knowledge of generic products/services and the surrounding organization (metal parts production - laser, punching, folding, clinching of metal sheets)
  • Drives Operational Excellence, Lean methods and tools.
  • PFMEA experience
  • Project management techniques
  • Capable of interacting with senior levels, building strong networking across the organization
  • Knowledge of environmental, safety, ergonomic and quality regulations
  • People coaching
  • Problem-solving
