YOUR ROLE

As a Global Supply Chain Compliance Intern on our team, your role is to support the operation of supply chain compliance programs, ensuring smooth operation of critical compliance activities to meet Aptiv's compliance, efficiency, and productivity expectations. The position focuses on Supply Chain ESG compliance and providing support for legal, regulatory, and customer compliance requirements.

In your daily job you will:

• Support ESG risk assessment activities and other compliance programs as needed eg Code of Conduct
• Issue supplier ESG risk assessment requests, follow up with suppliers and internal category owners, troubleshoot issues and track progress to completion
• Maintain accurate details record of activity related to risk assessment requests in xls trackers in a timely manner with precise attention to detail
• analyze weekly reports with suppliers ' responses and update status metrics summary based on those reports
• keep accurate records of corrective action status, and follow up with suppliers and internal owners to progress these as needed to ensure progress
• Follow up open cases for risk assessment and corrective action requests proactively acting on own initiative to ensure continuous progress to completion
• Leverage available reports and tool to inform activities and maximize productivity

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Bachelors degree level qualification in progress

• Availability of minimum 20h per week

• Experience managing high numbers of open issues and keeping detailed accurate records to support this
• Ability to analyse complex datasets and leverage output to progress open issues
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple initiatives at the same time
• Accurate, analytical and process driven way of working
• Attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative essential
• Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with various direct and dotted line reporting structures above and below
• Fluent English language in speech and writing
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proactive attitude, ability to work independently and passion to learn
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work across multiple teams
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (e.g. Pivot Table/Filters/Formulas Vlookup/If/Or/And/ Conditional formatting/Charts) and Power Point, including data visualization
• Power BI knowledge an advantage
