Job Title: Associate Product Manager – Grid Applications

Total Experience Required: 10+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software

Relevant Experience Required: 8+ experience as a Programme Manager delivering mission-critical grid applications such as EMS, ADMS and SCADA within the utilities sector.

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: A minimum duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months or beyond, depending on project requirements.

Workplace Type: Hybrid (at least 3 times a week at office)

Languages Required: English

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in Poland

Work Location: Warsaw, Poland

1. Must be currently based in Poland or
2. Willing to relocate to Poland from anywhere within Europe or the UK
3. Candidates outside Europe/UK unfortunately cannot be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery as the technical authority across software development, configuration, deployment and operational testing.
• Manage multi-team execution using Agile methodologies, contributing in roles such as Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master or Product Owner when required.
• Build and maintain effective Work Breakdown Structures and oversee project progress, scope, risks and issues in partnership with the Project Manager.
• Establish and drive Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and test automation practices with DevOps teams.
• Ensure service excellence through performance metrics on delivery timelines, scope, cost compliance, process adherence and customer satisfaction.
• Foster strong customer engagement through technical coordination and delivery assurance.
• Encourage continuous improvement and change management across delivery teams.

Essential Skills

• Strong background in grid domain projects, including EMS, ADMS and SCADA.
• Hands-on software development and system integration experience.
• Expertise in Agile and DevOps practices including CI/CD implementation.
• Proficiency with collaboration and development tools such as JIRA, TFS, SVN and GitHub.
• Understanding of Multitier, SOA, Web and Microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity environments across Linux and Windows.
• Excellent communication and ability to drive distributed teams toward common outcomes.

Optional Skills

• Experience working in offshore delivery environments.
• Exposure to multi-site global project execution in utilities.
