Role Purpose:

This position is designed to strengthen market access capabilities in Poland by driving strategic engagement with key stakeholders and fostering a broad, portfolio-oriented approach. The role focuses on building partnerships with decision-makers, understanding payer priorities, and leading negotiations to ensure products remain accessible and reimbursed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with regional and local Market Access teams, pricing specialists, commercial and marketing functions, medical affairs, finance, regulatory teams, logistics, and global departments responsible for health economics and market access strategy.
  • Interaction with pricing and reimbursement authorities, healthcare policy makers, payer organizations, HTA experts, advisory boards, healthcare professionals, and industry associations.
  • Develop and implement strategic market access plans aligned with business objectives and long-term sustainability.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including health authorities and payer organizations, to advocate for the product portfolio and support positive health outcomes.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment of market access activities with overall business strategy.
  • Analyze the Polish healthcare landscape to identify opportunities and challenges, providing actionable insights to internal teams.
  • Lead high-level negotiations with payers and relevant bodies to secure reimbursement and access.
  • Prepare pricing and reimbursement dossiers, budget impact models, and coordinate HTA submissions in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Monitor health policy changes and market dynamics, advising on strategic adjustments.
  • Co-create innovative initiatives with stakeholders to address unmet healthcare needs and enhance product positioning.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Public Health, Health Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market access, payer relations, or healthcare strategy—preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Poland's healthcare system, payer priorities, and reimbursement processes.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and experience in developing and implementing market access strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with openness to collaboration and continuous learning.
