As Market Access and Market Development Director Poland, you will lead the development and execution of market access strategies in Poland to enable patient access to innovative medical technologies. Reporting to the Country Leader and serving on the Leadership Board, you will shape the reimbursement landscape, engage with key stakeholders and execute health policy and health economics ensuring full compliance with Polish healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement national market access and reimbursement strategies aligned with business priorities and strategy.
Lead a team of experts in health economics, policy and market access specialists.
Collaborate with clinical experts, government bodies, payers and industry associations to analyze healthcare policy and shape strategic approaches.
Provide strategic input to Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to support product launches and life cycle management.
Drive evidence-based access initiatives using HTA, health economics, and value-based healthcare models.
Represent the company in industry forums and policy discussions.
Identify and resolve access barriers through strategic programs and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications/ must have
15+ years of experience in market access, health economics, or reimbursement in healthcare; 5+ years in leadership roles/people management.
Deep knowledge of the Polish healthcare system and financing structures.
Master's or PhD in Health Economics, Medicine, Management, or Life Sciences.
Proven strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and team leadership.
Fluent in Polish and English; strong communication and networking skills.
Nice to have
Experience in international and cross-functional environments preferred
Experience in commercial sales or marketing roles would be an added advantage.
To be successful in this role you must be an excellent communicator, able to drive change by influence (internally as well as externally) and have strong managerial skills/experience. Ideal candidates will combine good problem-solving skills with a focus on execution and have a strong interest in the Polish political and healthcare and reimbursement systems.
