Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation and analysis of property-level financial reports, including operating budgets, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.
    • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
  • Asset Management Strategy:
    • Support the development and implementation of asset management strategies to maximize property value and achieve investment objectives.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for value enhancement and risk mitigation.
    • Assist in the evaluation of potential capital improvement projects and development opportunities.
  • Property Operations and Leasing:
    • Collaborate with property management teams to ensure efficient and effective property operations.
    • Monitor leasing activity and assist in the development of leasing strategies.
    • Review and analyze lease agreements and other property-related contracts.
    • Coordinate with brokers and leasing agents.
  • Due Diligence and Acquisitions/Dispositions:
    • Assist in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions and dispositions.
    • Gather and analyze data related to property valuation, market conditions, and financial performance.
    • Prepare due diligence reports and presentations.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, tenants, brokers, and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
    • Assist in preparing presentations to investors.
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of property data, leases, and financial information.
    • Utilize property management software and other tools to track and analyze portfolio performance.
    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of property-level databases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in real estate asset management, property management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of real estate financial analysis and valuation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of property management software is a plus.  

  • Knowledge of local real estate markets.
