What You Will Be Doing

• Leverage deep education product expertise to drive strategic technical decisions that directly impact learning outcomes
• Develop sophisticated technical specifications that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and scalability while making critical architectural choices
• Implement cutting-edge generative AI technologies to revolutionize engineering processes and learning experiences, aligned with our vision of minimizing manual intervention

• Focusing solely on people management; your technical and business acumen will be your primary contribution
• Sacrificing productive time to excessive meetings and administrative overhead; our automated processes eliminate these distractions
• Creating abstract strategies without implementation pathways; your recommendations must translate directly to product-level execution

Vice President Of Product Engineering Key Responsibilities
Act as the technical visionary for our education products, driving measurable business value through architectural excellence and strategic implementation of AI technologies that transform how students learn.

Basic Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise and passion for data-driven learning science
• 7+ years making critical architecture and design decisions on significant software projects, including application of advanced design patterns and open source technologies
• 2+ years making strategic design decisions leveraging cloud computing services (primarily AWS)
• 4+ years in positions with complete technical and delivery ownership of revenue-generating products
• Proven experience building product features that harness the full potential of Generative AI
• Demonstrated success using Generative AI to streamline and optimize work processes

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
