For our Client, an international company opening a new SSC, we are looking for: Accounts Receivable Manager
Location: Warsaw
Work model: hybrid

The Global AR Manager is tasked with managing subsidiary Accounts Receivable (AR)  ledgers to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. This role involves overseeing invoice processing, and customer management.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for key AR activities, including: generating and sending invoices; matching and reconciling payments; issuing credit notes; handling reminders and claims; debt collection; bad debt, etc.
  • Build the department as one team by developing efficient communication within the department and with other Finance teams
  • Ensure that the team has the appropriate and technical competence and resources
  • Ensure an efficient department supported with thorough process documentation regularly reviewed and updated, providing an environment of continuous learning and development
  • Be a driving force in accelerating Finance transformation and ensure focus on automating transactional processes optimizing the use of the ERP and other tools where appropriate
  • Collaborate with other departments ensuring continuous improvements on process from an end-to-end perspective
  • Interact and support Group stakeholders with timely and accurate financial information and analysis
  • Drive the production of guidelines and policy for accounting operations together with the Internal control and compliance manager, and ensure controls are operating effectively
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team through coaching, mentoring and act as a role model by living organization's culture
  • Professional development of people and team, ensuring critical competence is in place and that resources are efficiently in their role
  • Accountable for overall performance management and other employee life-cycle activities and processes including health and safety
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of proven experience years in a senior strategic finance role, with focus on Accounting
  • Master degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred
  • Proficiency in English and Polish language
  • Experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams
