Your career opportunity The Analytics & Insights team is part of the CTO Dev Ops Services department, responsible for providing the metrics and analytical products that drive iterative improvement in Dev Ops practices across the bank.
We have team members across Europe, India and Latin America working across metrics, insights and providing the platform capabilities that underpin these and are scaling up our engineering team in Poland to support the creation of greenfield cloud data platform capability along with supporting ecosystem components.
The successful candidate will join an existing multi-disciplinary team of systems and data engineers and be focused on defining and implementing data schemas, pipelines, marts etc.
in partnership with other team members to take raw data and turn it into enriched datasets for our customers.HTP:

We are the technical foundation of the bank and manage HSBC's underlying hardware and systems supporting over colleagues and enabling 50+ million customers all around the world.
Our recruitment process comprises of an online value assessment (10 minutes), followed by an initial phone screening and one or two conversations with the hiring manager.
NET Core, and Web API, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
Demonstrated expertise in database design and SQL, particularly with SQL Server and T-SQL.
Experience in cloud-native and serverless application development.
Proficiency in version control using Git, along with experience in Shell scripting and Python.
Strong background in data engineering, including ETL processes and streaming.
Knowledge in data modelling and making design trade-offs for schemas and marts.
Experience in implementing automated solutions for data quality assurance.
Familiarity with orchestration, scheduling, and working in Dev Ops environments with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
