Technologies-expected : HTML CSS Java Script React Angular Type Script Google Big Query Graph QL about-project : This is an engineering leadership role with responsibility for enabling cloud transformation and execution for GPC's unified commerce platforms.


This individual must be a technologist & engineer at heart and be comfortable in enabling new technology and being hands on with the execution of the strategy.


She/he must exhibit a deep understanding of modern technology stack and agile delivery models, demonstrated focus on customer experience, and must have a proven track record of modernizing technologies.

Close collaboration and alignment with business teams, application development teams and security will be required.

As such, exceptional abilities in building and maintaining strong working relationships and organizational savvy will be required.

High level communication and presentation skills are required.

Ability to attract, retain, and develop engineering talent will be critical.

responsibilities :
Lead the development and build out of specific products within the commerce platform Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution Initiate both group and one-on-one meetings with senior management in order to gain a clear understanding of business drivers and functional requirements Lead design and architecture discussions for IT platforms engaging with other staff engineers, engineering teams across different business units to ensure secure and scalable solutions Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures Lead architecture, design and code reviews with engineering teams Provides oversight on delivery to ensure industry best practices, standards, automation, quality, timeliness, operational readiness, continuous improvement and cost-effective solutions Provide technical leadership and guidance to lead engineers and the technical team within a domain requirements-expected : 8+ years' experience in software engineering & technology Expertise in frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, and Java Script Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries, such as React, Angular, or Familiarity with microservices and cloud Technologies in the context of frontend development Experience with programming languages for frontend development, such as Type Script or ECMAScript Experience in designing and running A/B Tests for user interfaces and analyzing key metrics Experience in building cloud-native frontend applications using frameworks like or equivalent Experience in working with Big Data and No SQL technologies for frontend applications Experience in writing queries to retrieve data from analytical databases like Google Big Query or equivalent for frontend needs Experience in designing event-driven user interfaces, implementing publish/subscribe models Experience in setting up and working with component-based frontend architecture Experience with Graph QL and related technologies for efficient data fetching and manipulation on the frontend Familiarity with setting up testing and build processes for frontend applications, including automation Experience in writing automated tests for frontend components, including Unit/Integration tests Experience with cloud computing in the context of frontend development Experience in destructive testing methodologies and tools for frontend applications Must possess experience in building high-performance, low-latency user interfaces for end users benefits : sharing the costs of sports activities private medical care sharing the costs of professional training & courses life insurance coffee / tea meal passes sharing the commuting costs extra leave work in international teams friendly atmosphere copyrights for IT roles hybrid work
