We are on the lookout for a Staff Software Developer to join our team and contribute to enhancing our product that caters to a large user base worldwide.
What you will be responsible for- Collaborate with your manager and other tech leads to outline and implement the team's 12-month roadmap, prioritizing performance, reliability, cost efficiency, quality, and security.
- Tackle intricate technical challenges related to extensive distributed systems and coordination among multiple teams.
- Guide and support team members within the engineering department.
- Cultivate a culture of operational excellence within your team and participate in their on-call rotation.
- Demonstrated expertise in backend software development and technical leadership.
- Proven track record in spearheading the design, execution, deployment, and maintenance of high-traffic customer-centric software in a live environment.
- Excellent English communication skills to engage with teams dispersed globally.
- Hands-on experience with technologies from our tech stack (refer below for details).
- Prior experience working at a SaaS organization.
- Our backend code is crafted in TypeScript and operates on Express as our web framework.
- Our data is stored on MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, S3, and is channeled through RabbitMQ, Kafka, and SQS.
- Our systems run on Kubernetes clusters hosted on AWS, utilizing various AWS services.
