Job Description

  • Performing audit missions across the Group to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal controls framework;
  • Ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, corporate policies, and procedures;
  • Providing recommendations on controls and process improvements, ensuring implementation, validation, and documentation in Group financial policies and procedures.

Role & Objectives:

  • Conducting audit missions to identify internal control deficiencies and accounting issues/non-compliance with IFRS;
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures;
  • Offering recommendations on controls and process enhancements, ensuring implementation, validation, and documentation in Group financial policies and procedures;
  • Supporting deployment and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal controls framework;
  • Advising on the setup and implementation of key internal controls principles (e.g. segregation of duties);
  • Collaborating with other Group functions to ensure control standards and best practices are effectively deployed and operational;
  • Developing and enhancing the audit toolkit (templates, tools, data repositories).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Auditing/Internal Control or related areas such as controlling, accounting, reporting;
  • Strong technical and conceptual grasp of accounting under IFRS, finance policies, processes, and controls;
  • Experience in internal controls system deployment and effectiveness assessment, as well as segregation of duties implementation/verification, is advantageous;
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills; pro-activity; enthusiasm;
  • Solid knowledge of Standard Microsoft Office products (especially Excel); familiarity with VBA, Power BI, Power Automate, and ERP systems is beneficial;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in French and/or German is a plus.
