SiemensDigital Industries Software is seeking Global Energy Expert to join our People & Organization (P&O) team.

About the role

As a Global Energy Expert, you will support EHS Teamin fulfilling their responsibility, i. e. maintaining an effective GlobalEnergy Management System for the Business. This opportunity will allow youto take part in continuous improvement and execution of Siemens DigitalIndustries Software Energy global governance, focuses on global processes,defining product- and business-specific Energy related requirements andstandards, and maintaining oversight of Business “Headquarter-driven” projects.You will have a great opportunity to maintain and foster close interaction withP&O EHS, other Business Energy Management Experts, Country EHS Officers andCountry business or EHS counterparts, also supports DI SW Global Physicalsecurity strategy implementation by participating in Asset Classification &Protection assessments. 

Area ofresponsibility

Collaborateswith the EHS team and Product Environmental Protection Experts to Developmentand implementation of energy management plans to help identify, prioritize andimplement energy efficiency measures. Actingas a management representative collect and analyze energy consumption data toidentify trends and identify energy savings opportunities. This includesmonitoring energy consumption, costs and emissions. Basedon the data and analyzes collected, the energy management expert identifiespossible energy efficiency measures that can be implemented in theorganization. This may include improving processes, implementingenergy-efficient technologies, or training employees to save energy. Therepresentative develops plans for the implementation of energy efficiencymeasures and works with other departments or teams to put these measures intopractice. Responsiblefor monitoring and measuring energy efficiency measures. Actas contact person to inform employees about the importance of energy managementand energy saving. This may include training, presentations and the provisionof information materials in collaboration with internal communication teams. Reportingand documentation on the results of energy efficiency measures and progresstowards achieving energy goals. The energymanagement representative ensures that the company complies with relevant legalrequirements and standards in the field of energy management, including ISO50001. Drivecontinuous improvement of energy efficiency in the organization. Supportenergy related projects such as Solar Panels installations in cooperation withFacility Management and Operations team. Supportbusiness, when required, in the decision for better energy mix choices andenergy purchasing. Additionally,support the physical security team by identifying deficiencies for improvementin high-security areas, security equipment, and security systems. Thisincludes collaboration and support to the physical security team to ensure thatall control measures are in place to ensure timely identification of correctiveactions that need to be implemented. 

Your qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as EnergyManagement expert and successful demonstration of key responsibilities andknowledge. Degreein Engineering or other related disciplines from recognized institutions orequivalent. Evidencedtraining and expertise in the broader spectrum of Energy and Environmentaltopics. Expertlevel knowledge of ISO 50001 (Energy management), management system andimplementing / managing management system elements. Evidenced training /expertise in the broader spectrum of Environmental topics. Relevantexperience in consultancy, auditing, training, and experience in implementingenergy management systems and related schemes such as ISO 50001. TrainedInternal Auditor on ISO 50001 (ISO 14001 is an advantage).

You can work both remote or hybrid – depending of yourlocation. Since we work very closely with our employees,we are looking for a team member who will travel locally occasionally on our sites.
