Senior Finance Controller

Supply Chain Finance – Production Support Team – Gdansk

A new exiting opportunity have arisen in our SC Finance Central Support Team. We're in the middle of transitioning more senior responsibilities to our Central Support Teams and are therefore opening up new Senior Controller positions that will have a decisive role in ensuring the close cooperation between our local Business Partner Teams and our Central Support Teams as well as driving our global process standardization agenda.

As a Senior Controller, you will be an important link between the Central Production Support Team and the Finance Business Partner Teams in one of our core markets DK, SE/FI, UK or CE. Through dotted line you will represent the Central Production Support Team in local Business Partner LT-forums bridging our global alignment agenda with the need for local custom support ." says Senior Finance Manager, Danny Lange Andersen"

As the department is based in Gdansk, Poland and this position require regular face-to-face interactions with local stakeholders an valid Passport and driver's license are needed to be able to possess this job.

Key responsibilities

  • Month-End process for large operational locations according to our standards and policies
  • Monthly Variance Analysis Reporting to local Business Partner
  • Market consolidation to Senior Business Partner
  • Drive global alignment towards local teams and ensure feedback are handled centrally
  • Single Point of Contact for an specific cost area or global process driving global initiatives to optimize as well as challenge compliance towards stakeholders.

The key to success in this position is your proactive mindset, and your ability to build relationships with your stakeholders by using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are a dynamic person who works independently, takes initiative and sees the potential in the team and the collaboration with colleagues both locally and globally to achieve our common objectives. You have strong analytical skills and are great at crunching financial outliers.

This position requires an solid financial education, +3 years of working as controller/business partner and experience of working with global stakeholders.
