Your role

Your team

You'll be working in the Electronic Channels, Markets, Reporting and Data Crew in Switzerland which is part of the Trade and Transfer Assets Stream. We are a development team that processes large volumes of data from the global order manager system across multiple distributed booking centers. Our solutions utilize an underlying big data stack and an Oracle data warehouse platform to provide data, reporting, and analytic services for business, operations, and compliance users as well as data feeds into and from other IT systems. We will soon be embarking on a journey to the Azure Cloud.

Your expertise

Extensive experience in Oracle database development.
- Proficiency in writing complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Strong understanding of performance tuning and SQL query optimization techniques for Oracle databases.
- Strong SQL skills for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
- Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment and scripting languages ( bash / sh ).
- Familiarity with Hive/Databricks solution.
- Version control experience with Git or GitLab.
- Familiarity with Python programming for scripting or data manipulation.
- Integration of PL/SQL and Python for data processing tasks.
- Understanding of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Kafka message streaming and data integration.
