Job Description

Our Finance and Accounting Department in Poznan is looking for a dynamic individual interested in international work opportunities.

AP Accountant
(2-year contract; maternity cover)

Responsibilities

  • Coding, processing, and analyzing vendor invoices
  • Ensuring prompt invoice processing
  • Maintaining payable aging
  • Handling accounts payable inquiries and audit queries
  • Monitoring accounts for timely payments
  • Interacting with ADM business counterparts in European countries
  • Driving improvements in accounting processes
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects
  • Supporting financial results reporting and closing processes
  • Undertaking other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the AP Leader
  • Providing cover for Accounts Payable colleagues during their absence
  • Valid work permit for Poland
  • Ability to work from our Poznań office 3 days a week (ul. Kolorowa 6)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in AP or AR departments or as an accountant
  • Familiarity with accountancy procedures
  • Proficiency in English (B2+)
  • Capability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Keenness to learn and enhance skills and knowledge
