AML Regulatory Reporting Oversight Officer

You would be a part of the Regional Team responsible for overseeing the in-country AML Regulatory Reporting obligations according to the Global ICRM/AML Standards. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness in compliance. Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line of defense on metrics, escalations, audits, issue management, data governance, and AML Regulatory Reporting technology initiatives. Utilize your expertise to identify data inconsistencies, offer strategic recommendations, and maintain AML policy compliance.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in collaboration with functional partners.
  • Advise business units on AML policies and regulatory updates.
  • Provide insights on business projects, new products, and complex transactions.
  • Supervise internal assurance processes, including risk assessments and audits.
  • Foster global consistency in AML practices and policies.
  • Analyze data, compile, and present global/regional AML risk reports.
  • Develop and enforce AML Compliance Risk Management standards and policies.
  • Evaluate risk in business decisions to ensure compliance and protect Citigroup's reputation.

Skills :

  • 6-10 years of experience in AML or a related field.
  • AML certification is mandatory.
  • Extensive knowledge of local, US, and international regulatory mandates.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
  • Proficient in clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
