AML Regulatory Reporting Oversight Officer

You would be a member of the Regional Team responsible for execution oversight of the in-country AML Regulatory Reporting obligations (accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness) as defined in the Global ICRM/AML Standards (RTR/NTR & SAR/STR). Provide credible challenge and partner with 1st and 2nd line of defense in matters related to metrics, escalations, exams/audits, issue management, data governance and technology initiatives associated with AML Regulatory Reporting. You will leverage your expertise to identify data inconsistencies, provide strategic recommendations, and ensure compliance with AML policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and address potential risks with the support of functional partners.
  • Advise business units on AML policies and regulatory changes.
  • Provide input on business initiatives, new products, and complex transactions.
  • Supervise internal assurance processes, including risk assessments and audits.
  • Promote global consistency of AML practices and policies.
  • Analyze data, prepare, and present regional/global AML risk reports.
  • Develop and implement AML Compliance Risk Management standards and policies.
  • Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance and safeguarding Citigroup's reputation.

Skills:

  • 6-10 years of experience in AML or a related field.
  • AML certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of local, US, and international regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
