  • Following threat intelligence feeds to extract knowledge of common exploits, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures
  • Use case creation, development, and maintenance
  • Identification, containment, conduct initial mitigations and report system compromises
  • Responding to computer security incidents
  • Threat Response, ability to lead a response to defeat identified cyber threats
  • Defining and implementing data visualization solutions, including appropriate dashboards, and reports
  • Investigating and reporting security issues
  • Maintain and communicate information to internal and external entities
  • Providing input to respective teams responsible for document preparation
  • Undertaking risk assessments, articulate risk, and propose appropriate mitigations to the risk managers and/or owners
  • Collaborating with the various resolver groups to ensure the timely remediation of security incidents and identified vulnerabilities
  • Create and update incident response plans
  • Complete other duties/responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in related discipline such as computer security, computer science, computer engineering or information technology
  • 5+ years of experience in working for a Managed Security Services (MSS) provider in a Security Operations Center, Computer emergency incident response team or computer security incident response center
  • Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
  • Possesses an understanding of cyber-attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures
  • Ability to articulate security issues, analysis, and remediation techniques to internal and external customers
  • Independence in action
  • Network protocols and applications knowledge
  • Problem solving skills
  • Network traffic analysis tools
  • Advanced German and English
