Job DescriptionAbout the Colleague Transformation Programme

The purpose of the Colleague Transformation programme is to build trust with our colleagues in a simple and helpful way. The programme aims to provide colleagues with a better working experience at Tesco, enhanced by accessible technology available to everyone. By reducing manual tasks and admin, our Colleagues, Managers, and People Partners can focus on their work, building their skills and teams.

The Associate Product Manager will contribute to building the vision for the Colleague Facts API and implement it across every country Tesco operates in. This is an exciting time to join the team as we spearhead Tesco's global technology transformation with executive sponsorship and a substantial budget. The role covers the entire product lifecycle.

The Role – Product Manager – Colleague Transformation
  • Have accountability for features within a complex product domain, driving product vision, roadmap, and execution
  • Understand the needs and pain points of customers and business stakeholders
  • Prioritize roadmaps with multiple optimization criteria and resolve trade-offs decisively
  • Collaborate with peers and senior stakeholders to shape the product's future direction
  • Effectively communicate complexity to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Quickly learn new product domains
  • Be transparent about risks while pushing forward and adapting
  • Show empathy and good listening skills towards customers and stakeholders
  • Apply Agile methodologies and write effective user stories
  • Apply User Research and Design Thinking concepts
QualificationsKey Skills and Experience
  • Expertise in online products, APIs, and international product delivery
  • Prioritization and resource allocation across diverse product needs
  • Taking a new product from conception to go-live with measurable success
  • Understanding Software Development Lifecycles
  • Knowledge of user stories, personas, and acceptance test criteria
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and technical concepts
  • Translating customer needs into technical requirements
  • Explaining technical aspects to business stakeholders
  • Break down complex problems into manageable tasks
  • Managing and prioritizing product backlogs with tools like Jira
  • Documenting requirements for engineers using Confluence and Git Wiki

Salary:

  • UoP PLN gross/month
  • B2B PLN net/month
