IT Business Expert Manager

Role Overview

Join our BTS Finance Performance Team, an integral part of JTI's Information Technology division. This role involves comprehending business processes and needs, then effectively translating them into system solutions, primarily within the S4 and BW landscape.

We collaborate closely with various business units to grasp their requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Our specialization lies in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), playing a pivotal role in enhancing corporate financial planning mechanisms. This entails driving enhancements, automation, innovation, and defining the IT systems roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance FP&A solutions to optimize business processes, leveraging market innovations such as AI-driven forecast models, Machine Learning, Robotics, Data Mining, improved user experience, and integrating existing technologies.
  • Execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and prototypes swiftly, evaluating their value proposition and associated risks.
  • Contribute to project implementation post successful PoCs approval.
  • Stay abreast of technology trends and evaluate optimal IT solutions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven ability to collaborate with business units and coordinate with IT teams on prototypes and projects.
  • Background in FP&A either as a user or within IT departments, with a focus on process enhancement.
  • Proficiency in S4, SAP BW BPC, and other financial planning tools (e.g., IBM, ANAPLAN).
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Passion for exploring emerging technologies and self-driven learning.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and open to accepting challenges.
  • Keen on market research, technology exploration, and up-to-date with tech trends.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive.

Performance Objectives

  • Your goals will primarily focus on driving innovation.
  • 60%-70% of objectives will emphasize innovation delivery.
  • 30%-40% will be dedicated to learning, research, and knowledge-sharing within the IT team.
