Job Description:

Impact One is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee our finance operations with a focus on Polish accounting standards. This role is instrumental in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a deep understanding of Polish tax regulations. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, we invite you to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the go-to person when it comes to all things Finance Operations
  • Actively work on monthly and annual financial statements while closely collaborating with our external tax consultants
  • Analyse financial data, create reports and visibility on financials for management and proactively propose improvements in costs and expenses
  • Take responsibility for bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, and financial statements
  • Keep oversight and create financial transparency on a group structure with several legal entities across different jurisdictions
  • Work closely with the CFO on scaling the processes and structure of the finance department inside our continuously growing organisation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or a similar field
  • Solid knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax requirements
  • Strong proficiency in processes and tooling for finance operations such as payroll, cash management, budgeting and invoice processing
  • Working experience in preparing and controlling monthly and annual budgets, internal/external reports and working with external accounting teams
  • Quantitatively focused with strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Result-driven with a high standard of accuracy. Meet deadlines and ensure short-term goals that support long-term initiatives are achieved.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and experience in ERP systems and/or BI tools are a plus
