We are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager, whose mission will be to craft compelling business cases for marketing initiatives, ensuring our marketing tactical and operational plans are both visionary and well grounded in solid financial insight.

What will your responsibilities include?

  • Forge strong relationships with the marketing team, becoming an indispensable partner in the team's operations.
  • Utilize expertise to provide financial insights for marketing decisions, including ad hoc analyses and participating in strategic rule setting.
  • Lead the development of financial plans: budgets, forecast, tactical exercises, ensuring alignment with the Marketing team goals.
  • Working with the marketing team Leaders on key projects.
  • Analyze performance data to offer insights, participate in short- and medium-term planning, and identify crucial KPIs for sustained growth.
  • Collaborate with analytical and machine learning teams to refine decision-making processes and accelerate business learning.
  • Design and oversee management accounts and KPI reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and support the monthly closing process, including management commentaries for financials and KPIs.
  • Supporting, motivating and developing Business Controllers team.

We are looking for people who:
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in financial modeling (e.g. business case development), preferably with a marketing or commercial context.
  • Possess deep understanding of marketing KPIs and metrics, backed by a strong foundation in finance or economics (econometrics or statistics as an additional discipline will be a strong asset).
  • Have understanding and experience in application to re-usable models the principles of marketing investment economics (return on investment, return on ad spend) across different levels of customer funnel; customer /subscriber economics (lifetime value, acquisition cost, retention costs); customer segmentation will be considered a strong asset.
  • Have university education, preferably within Finance or Economics.
  • Are proficient in budgeting forecasting, financial planning , and possess a keen analytical mind.
  • Are self-motivated, possess a high degree of ownership, are problem-solvers and exhibit critical thinking.
  • Have good communication skills (verbal and written), and fluency in English.
  • Experience with SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Looker Data Studio, Tableau will be considered an advantage.
