KONE Finance professionals are responsible for corporate controlling and reporting, treasury, taxes, investor relations, as well as finance development and alliances and acquisitions. We support our business colleagues by driving a financially sound business direction and providing relevant intelligence for decision-making. We are seeking a highly motivated Manager in our Finance Development team to be the Business Process Lead for Accounts Payable in the Finance Workstream of the BPR Program.

In this role you will play a key role in the development, implementation, and drive the new and improved finance processes to deliver our operating model vision and business strategy. As a Business Lead you will be responsible for the S/4HANA Global Template Design across your respective area. This will include leading the Functional team to design the Global Template, and overall responsibility to ensure processes in the Global Template are fit for purpose and approve any deviations from standard functionality.

Responsibilities and Key Activities:

Process Management

  • Provide insights and cross-process finance expertise to develop solutions that are aligned with the KONE finance operating model vision and business strategy
  • Provide clarity on strategic finance P2P projects and roadmaps, including end-to-end visualization for KONE finance to meet its P2P functional objectives
  • Analyze and understand future P2P end-to-end business needs and translate into new business process solutions in cooperation with finance and business stakeholders
  • Lead the development, implementation and utilization of new finance P2P processes to ensure alignment with KONE finance operating model and business strategy

Stakeholder Management

  • Provide P2P functional expertise for finance development Strategic Programs
  • Ensure the acceptance and successful implementation of new P2P business processes and supporting technology
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, Solution and Data Architects to ensure that new IT solutions and capabilities are optimized from end-to-end value stream point of view
  • Promote and drive change management for new processes and tools for strategic finance projects

Strategic Programs (e.g. Business Platform Renewal)

  • Drive clear P2P "Fit to standard" process design approach with partner
  • Ensure all P2P design decisions follow the agreed design governance, working with the technology and data to ensure a workable design
  • Close alignment and collaboration with Global Process Owners on detailed future process design.
  • Managing resourcing participation & developing workshop content as necessary to support the program
  • Manage & support partner counterpart in delivering all aspects of the program
  • Build scenarios in conjunction with the business and partner that fit the business requirements
  • Drive participation of stakeholders developing testing scenario

Accountable for Below Key Activities:

Overall:

  • Plan and deliver agreed objectives on time and according to budget
  • Functional efficiency and realization of targeted benefits
  • Effectiveness and fit-for-purpose of functional roadmaps in scope
  • Business continuity for Finance-owned processes in scope

BPR program:

  • Signing off respective Process Design, Show Home scenarios data loads and testing cycles
  • Leading the functional team (managing capacity, resources, planning etc.)
  • Design decisions within the P2P process area
  • Manage and recommend non-standard decisions to the Design authority
  • Leading the walkthrough during the design workshops and testing and deployment phase

Requirements for the role:

  • At least 3 years specific P2P process owner experience
  • Strong technical SAP capabilities in purchase to pay process
  • Proven skills in purchase to pay automation, including Basware, Pagero & Medius document scanning capabilities and process
  • At least 3 years of experience in change management and stakeholder management in an international environment
  • excellent presentation and communication skills, persuasiveness, and self-confidence
  • Demonstrated experience in business case creation
  • Solid track-record on delivering against targets
  • Excellent command in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in English

The position is located in Espoo, Finland or in another major KONE city in Europe. The preferred start would be in August 2024.
