Valmet EMEA Area organization has a strong presence across Europe, Middle East, and Africa altogether in 19 countries with a workforce of close to 2000 talented professionals.
We are looking in our EMEA Area organization for Manager, Services – Eastern Europe , to lead our Energy, Recovery and Environmental Services (ERE) product portfolio inside Central Europe North (CEN) team. You will have a skilled sales and project execution team to support your success. Additionally, you will lead by example and develop your own sales and business development cases. You will report in this position to the Director, ERE, CEN in EMEA organization. You will be based in our Valmet office in Warsaw, Poland.

Areas of Responsibility:
You will lead the Eastern European sales team in this position. Therefore, this position requires deep understanding and passion to thrive for profitable growth and meet expected orders received targets by securing high customer satisfaction from energy, pulp & paper and process customers.
Lead service sales team in your region and cooperate with internal/external stakeholders to secure top quality sales and project execution pipeline with the aim of profitable growth As a team leader - set clear targets, monitor performance and coach your team towards accountability and results Collaboration with our project execution and site operation teams is an important element of your work Pursue high customer satisfaction by developing technology solutions, concepts and agreements that bring added-value for our customer You and your team will support the development of our capital sales within your product portfolio (ERE) You will participate in defining our mid-term strategic actions and take accountability to execute these must-win initiativesTo succeed in this role, you will need:
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills - effective engagement with teams, stakeholders, and partners at all levels Industry knowledge and network - Excellent understanding of Energy and Pulp industries, technologies, and market including existing customer network in EMEA, emphasis in Eastern European countries Sales management skills - experience in managing sales, key account and agreement management Good negotiation skills - experience in B-t-B contracts and finalizing deals Great problem-solving skills – analytically and technologically Strategic approach - Ability to identify business drivers, adopt and execute actions Ability to network, build relationships and create trust Excellent communication skills, fluency English, both written and oral, other languages are an asset Financials skills – good understanding of budgeting and financial information Willingness to travel across Eastern European countries M.Sc. / B.Sc. in energy, pulping, chemical or process engineeringWe offer:
