Job Overview:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing domestic, regional, and/or global projects. Key responsibilities include leading project teams, managing communications, risks, scope, schedules, costs, quality, and stakeholders to ensure deviations from the plan are actively addressed, and client expectations are met. The Senior Project Manager should have a solid understanding of IT solution development, deployment, data migration, solution retirement, IT infrastructure, and IT cyber security. They are also responsible for compiling and maintaining project documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Additionally, they may have line management and business development duties.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for project delivery in terms of time, scope, cost, quality, successful outcomes, and value
  • Serve as a primary business/client contact for assigned projects, fostering relationships that enhance satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Lead core project team(s) and facilitate effective teamwork among internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage project plans, resource allocation, conflict resolution, cost management, scope delivery, risk assurance, and quality control
  • Establish and track project performance indicators, manage resource needs, and ensure governance through Steering Committee involvement
  • Support business development activities and contribute to talent development and management

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • University/college degree (Information Technology preferred) or certification in Information Technology

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • Proven IT project experience in related functional areas
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and IT technologies
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Experience in managing projects in diverse environments
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, handle multiple priorities, inspire teamwork, and utilize resources effectively

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Advanced degree or certifications in Project Management, Agile, Scrum, etc.
  • Experience as an Agile Lead and understanding of SAFe methodology
  • Global project management experience
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working and GxP Quality rules
